Cover Supervisor – PK Education (Sheffield, S5)
Location: Sheffield, S5
Pay: £100–£110 per day
Start: Immediate / Ongoing
Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible)

PK Education are looking for confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our supportive team and work with secondary schools across the Sheffield S5 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching, gaining classroom experience, or looking for rewarding, flexible work in education.

Role Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during short-term absence of teachers

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials

• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

• Support students in staying on task and engaging with their work

• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson

What We’re Looking For

• Confident communication and classroom management skills

• A passion for supporting young people

• Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential

• Graduates, teaching assistants, youth workers, coaches and mentors all encouraged to apply

• A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
