Secondary Art & Design Teacher required – September 2019 – Rochdale
£110 – £165 per day

This exciting Art & Design Teacher position available for a long term role and starting in September 2019 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable secondary school in the Rochdale area.

Are you creative? As a passionate Art Teacher can you enthuse young people in learning new skills in a range of different disciplines?

The school are looking for a passionate and highly motivated art & design teacher to join their well-resourced and friendly art department. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 art & design to classes across a range of abilities. Lessons should engage and challenge students in order to provide opportunity for good progress to be made.

This large Ofsted ‘Good’ school caters for over 1,000 students and are passionate about developing individuals that are well rounded and driven to succeed in an ever-evolving global world. The school is comitted to providing a dynamic and innovative learning environment that empowers students to achieve to their full potential.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs.

To be considered for this Art & Design Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Art curriculum including the new GCSE.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
