Behaviour Mentor

Do you have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Would you like to have the autonomy to create your own behavioural and rewards programmes? Yes…..we have the role for you!

The Role

  • Delivering intervention support

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

  • Leading structured lunchtime groups to those who require additional support during non-structured times

  • Working with pupils across the primary age (5-11)

  • Creating and delivering behavioural support plans alongside the school SENCO

  • Identifying pupils with additional needs

What Do I Need To Apply

  • Level 3 Qualification (Desirable, not essential)

  • Restraint training (desirable, not essential)

  • Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour

  • An enthusiastic approach to learning

  • A hard working and resilient attitude

  • Knowledge of how children learn within their final stages of the primary curriculum
