Secondary Computing Teacher required – January 2021 – Preston
£120 – £175 per day
This exciting long term Secondary Computing Teacher starting in January 2021 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable, secondary school in the Preston area.
Are you up to date with the latest technology? As an engaging Computing teacher are you able to teach the skills required to be able to succeed in the modern world?
This Computing Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities. The successful candidate should have up to date knowledge of the computing curriculum having used programming languages such as Python. The successful candidate may also be required to teach some ICT.

To be considered for this Computer Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Computing curriculum including the new GCSE
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
