PK Education is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dynamic Teacher of Technology for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons across Food, Textiles, and Design Technology (with a focus on Resistant Materials) at Key Stage 3, with the ability to teach Food at Key Stage 4 considered a strong advantage.

Key Details:

• Role: Teacher of Technology (Food, Textiles & Resistant Materials)

• Key Stages: KS3 compulsory; KS4 Food desirable

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract: Full-time; fixed term for Autumn 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

• Location: Nottingham

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching across Food, Textiles, and Resistant Materials at KS3

• Confidence and experience teaching Food at KS4 is desirable

• Passion for practical, creative teaching and strong classroom management

• Able to inspire and motivate students across a broad ability range
