Job Description

DT Teacher with a Engineering specialism required – Chesterfield – £145 – £211 per day

Are you a DT Teacher with a Engineering specialism with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This exciting DT Teacher with Engineering specialism vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Chesterfield.

This rewarding role will be a maternity cover and is to start after February Half term 2024, continuing until 2025.

DT Teacher responsibilities and duties:

–     You will be required to deliver lessons in accordance with the planning provided that engage and challenge students of all abilities.

– You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour.

DT Teachers of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the DT Teacher role you should have:

·       Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

·       The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

·       Strong subject knowledge of your chosen specialism, with the ability and experience to teach DT to KS3 and KS5 pupils.


DT Teacher Salary and Benefits:

·       Competitive rates of pay from between £145 to £211 per day (AWR Compliant).

·       Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
