Secondary English Teacher required – April 2021 – Manchester

£120 – £180 per day

This exciting Secondary English Teacher position available for a long-term role and starting in April 2021 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable, secondary school in the Manchester area.

Are you passionate about science?  As an enthusiastic English Teacher are you able to engage young people in learning about the laws of science that govern the universe?

This English Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups.  You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage learners across a range of abilities. 

This school caters for over 1000 students and is built on a foundation of high expectations of both staff and students.  High expectations not only of behaviour and achievement but also that their students act as good role models both inside and outside of the school.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs

To be considered for this English Teacher role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum including the new GCSE.

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
