Job Description:

Secondary Food Technology Teacher required – Bury – February 2019

£100 – £160 per day

PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with an Ofsted graded ‘good’ secondary school in the Bury area in order to recruit a passionate Food Technology teacher for an initial long term position starting in late February 2019

Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher?  Are you able to use your enthusiasm and subject knowledge to ensure students learn the importance of a balanced diet?

This friendly secondary school are looking for a dedicated and experienced teacher to join their well-resourced Food Technology department.  The successful candidate will be required to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Food Technology to classes across a range of abilities.  Lessons should engage and challenge all students in order to achieve success.

To be considered for the role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum.

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
