Secondary Food Technology teacher required – September 2019 – Rochdale
£110 – £165 per day
This exciting Food Technology Teacher position available for a long term role starting in September 2019 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable secondary school in the Rochdale area.
Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher? Are you able to use your enthusiasm and subject knowledge to ensure students learn the importance of a balanced diet and how to prepare one?
This Food Technology Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage learners across a range of abilities. Having experience teaching oter areas of technology (e.g textiles) is desired but not essential.

To be considered for this Food Technology Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum including the new GCSE.
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
