Job Description

PK Education are working alongside a secondary schools in Northumberland who require Humanities practitioner to cover an upcoming maternity leave which is likely to last the academic year.

The role, as stated above will be a 3 1/2 day position with the other day and a half being made up of both general cover and PPA. You will be maintaining standards in behaviour set by the school and ensuring that progress is made during lessons. During longer term assignments you will be required to plan, deliver and mark schemes of work.

  • Happy to support tasks around school when not in lessons, i.e. wall displays, lesson support, preparing resources, intervention.
