Job Description:

Secondary MFL Teacher required – January 2019 – Bury

£100 – £165 per day

This exciting Secondary MFL (French & Spanish) Teacher position available for a long term (and potentially permanent) position starting in January 2019 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable, Ofsted graded ‘Good’, secondary school in the Bury area.    

Do you love speaking more than one language?  As a dynamic MFL Teacher can you teach young people language skills that will help them succeed in a multi-cultural and global society?

This MFL Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.  Strong candidates will be able to teach both French & Spanish to GCSE, however MFL teachers with other languages/specialisms may still be considered

This Ofsted ‘Good’ school caters for nearly 1000 students and through the delivery of top class teaching & learning and impeccable student behaviour they aim to deliver excellent exam results.  In addition to students achieving academically the school also provides a wide range of extra curricular experiences to ensure learners are given the opportunity to develop into well rounded young people.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs

To be considered for the role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Strong subject knowledge of the MFL curriculum including the new GCSE

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
