Secondary Religious Education / Religious Studies Teacher required – April 2020 – Bolton
£110 – £170 per day
This exciting Secondary Religious Education Teacher position available for a long term contract and starting in April 2020 is the perfect opportunity to join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in the Bolton area.
Are you fascinated by religion? As an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher are you able to engage young people in learning about different cultures and beliefs around the world?
This Religious Education / Religious Studies Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students of all abilities and promote good progress. Opportunity for discussion and debate should be built into lessons where appropriate.
This Ofsted ‘Good’ school caters for nearly 1000 students and through the delivery of top class teaching & learning and impeccable student behaviour they aim to deliver excellent exam results. Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs
To be considered for the Religious Education Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the RE curriculum including the new GCSE.
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
