Reception Teacher Required

Job Description:

I am currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher for a mainstream Primary School situated in the South of Leeds. This role is temporary for two terms starting in January 2019. The Ofsted rating for this school is deemed ‘Good’. The number of pupils on role in this school is around 250 mixed gender, age ranges are from 3-7.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Must Hold QTS, although NQT’s are welcomed.

  • Comprehensively plan and prepare work as part of a cohesive team which reflects the pupils’ age and ability within the class.

  • Keep efficient school records and tracking, integrating formative and summative assessments into weekly and termly planning.

  • Mark, record, assess and report on the attainment and progress of the pupils.

  • Create an interesting and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment, which is enhanced to reflect current topics and children’s individual interests.

  • Assist in a whole school approach to the delivery of the EYFS curriculum.

  • Create good and effective relationships with pupils, teaching and support staff, parents and the wider community.
