Residential Support Worker
PK Education are working in partnership with a special residential school situated in North Yorkshire. They are currently looking for experienced residential support workers for day to day sickness and/or long term term time placements. Individuals attending this setting are of school age between KS2 -KS4. All have special educational needs. This includes; Autistic spectrum disorder, challenging behaviour and moderate learning difficulties. Working at the special residential school does require individuals that have experience working in this field and are happy working either day shifts or night shifts.
To be considered for this role, you will:
GNVQ level 3 Health and social care or equivalent.
Experience working as a support worker in a special school or similar setting.
Be a positive outgoing individual with a drive for being 100% committed.
Have knowledge of the different special educational needs.
Be team teach trained or willing to undertake the training.
Flexible in your approach.
