PK Education are working with a secondary school in Chesterfield who are currently looking for a science teacher to cover. This school has a unique and vibrant community!

The successful Science Teacher will be required to have a strong presence in the classroom and enhance the learning of KS3- KS4 Students.

For KS3 and 4 pupils in years 7 to 11. Pupils are vulnerable, may be challenging and may have autism, ADHD, ODD, dyslexia. Self-harm may be prevalent as is substance misuse and those involved with social care. Our behaviour policy has a focus on consequence and change, not sanction and punishment.

Our Successful Science Teacher will need to:

• Have great timekeeping
• Have excellent classroom management
• Adapt to different environments
• Maintain the standards/ethos of the school they are in
• QTS Status (Instructors can also apply)

You will be able to work full time.

As a Science Teacher you will have:

• Over 1 Years’ experience working in a School
• Excellent communication skills
• A firm knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A yearning to have influence
• QTS Status (Instructors can also apply)
