SEMH Teacher – One to one – Stockport / Cheshire 
£20 – £30 per hour

PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a developing alternative education provider in the Stockport / Cheshire East area in order to recruit dynamic teachers who are passionate about working with young people.

This growing specialist provision offers a bespoke education service with a holistic approach and caters for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education. Students have a variety of needs including Social Emotional & Mental Health difficulties (SEMH), ADHD and Attachment disorders and Looked After Children; so you will need to have excellent behaviour management with a calm but firm approach. They are looking for creative and flexible teachers with a positive attitude to provide engaging and alternative lessons based outside of the classroom setting, with a focus on developing life skills.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or NQT looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

To be considered for the role you must have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
Knowledge across the curriculum and with alternative teaching methods.
Strong behaviour management.
Experience with SEMH.
A flexible approach and positive attitude.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
