PK Education are seeking an experienced and motivated SEN residential support worker for an independent special needs school.


 currently looking for a SEN TA/ Support to join their growing base of staff. This forward thinking and progressive specialist school require someone to work.  This is a highly desirable school for children with SEN/SEMH needs and the school actively encourage its members of staff to undertake the training they provide to improve their skill sets and further help the pupils.

TA/Support role is unique in that the school are looking to take someone on a short term and long term basis should they integrate well with the current team and build a good rapport with the pupils. The school are using the latest technologies and practices to encourage learning in a different way to a mainstream setting, using active learning and a more hands on approach to get the pupils to engage more.  Working with students with Autism, ADHD,PMLD, Complex needs.

                To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs

  • The ability to build strong, positive relationships with staff and students

  • Experience Within SEN Environment/classroom

    SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits:

  • Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

  • Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
