SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary TA – Manchester

£60 – £70 per day

 

PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a Special Educational Needs Primary school in the Manchester area in order to recruit positive SEN Teaching Assistants.

 

They are looking for committed TAs who are experienced and passionate about working with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support children with additional needs on a one to one basis in order to raise attainment. Pupils may have a range of SEN including Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will work closely with the class teacher assisting with lessons and activities while maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all young people.

 

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role you must have:

A qualification in education or child care.
Experience supporting young people with a range of SEN.

Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Knowledge across the Primary curriculum.

Excellent behaviour management with a calm approach.

A passion for helping young people to achieve success.

 

 

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
