PK Education are working closely with an SEND school based in Northumberland who require a SEND Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP, the role will initially be for one term with the potential of it continuing longer
The school caters for young people between the ages of 2 to 19 years who have a range of learning difficulties which include ASD, SEMH, speech, language, communication difficulties, complex needs as well as other SEND difficulties
This role will involve
Having a “hands on” approach to supporting students with learning difficulties
Ability to use own initiative
Experience supporting students in an SEND Learning Support Assistant role would be beneficial but not essential
Ability to positive relationships with both students and colleagues
A passion for supporting students and helping them to fulful their potential
Being flexible, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
Current Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one
