SEN Teaching Assistant:
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a role working with children with Special Educational Needs?
PK Education have recently started working exclusively with a large specialist school in Loughborough and we are in need of experienced TA’s looking to work consistently in the same school. The school specialises in mental health and behavioural needs, employing a number of experienced SEND specialist teachers to administer the curriculum, all of whom utilise teaching assistants in the classroom.
The role is unique in that it offers a large amount of continued professional development training within the school, courses such as Team-Teach and Makaton allow you to improve your skills and progress within the role. The focus of the school is to provide a high level of education for the pupils, measuring their attainment in comparison with other similar schools in the area and improving where necessary.
To be considered for this role you should have:
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
The ability to build strong, positive relationships with staff and students
SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits:
Competitive rates of pay from between £55 to £75 per day (AWR Compliant).
