SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary TA – Trafford

£60 – £70 per day

PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a special primary school in the Trafford area in order to recruit positive SEND Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible.

This special school in Trafford is part of a growing trust and caters for young people aged 2 to 11 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They are looking for a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to support children on a one to one basis and in small groups. Pupils have a variety of SEND such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). To be successful you will need a flexible approach, adapting activities to suit the specific needs and abilities of students. Alongside the friendly staff team you will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

To be considered for this SEND Teaching Assistant role you must have:

Experience and understanding of SEND.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong behaviour management.
A positive attitude and flexible approach.

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
