PK Education are working in partnership with a Rotherham Secondary School to appoint a Teacher of Computing and Business for a long-term supply teaching post. This Teacher of Computing and Business will be required to start as soon as possible, and will be required for the whole of the academic year. This is a part-time position, working Mondays and Fridays each week.
As a Teacher of Computing and Business, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing and Business lessons to pupils of all abilities. In particular, you will need to have experience teaching Key Stage 3 Computing and teaching BTEC Business. As this is a long-term post that will last for the whole of the academic year, you will be required to prepare lessons and mark and assess the work of students. You may also be required to do general cover across the school where required.
The school itself is a large academy in the Rotherham area with over 1000 students on roll. The school is part of a local Multi-Academy Trust. Located on the outskirts of Rotherham, the school is very easily commutable from Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield. The school sets high expectations of students and they are encouraged to fulfil their full potential.
Both NQTs or experienced Teachers of Computing and Business are encouraged to apply for this post. Before you can start work, you will need to have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service and two previous employment references will need to be requested.
In return, PK Education will offer you a generous rate of pay, as we pay all of our teachers to scale for long-term roles. You will also be given access to a dedicated and supportive specialist consultant who will be there to ensure you are enjoying your role.
To apply for this position, please email your CV to email@example.com. Alternatively, please call our Sheffield Office on 0114 272 2212 where our team of experienced consultants will be ready to take your call.
