Teacher of Design & Technology

Job Description:

PK Education are currently working closely with a school in the Chesterfield area who are seeking a DT Teacher to join their team on a long term temporary basis.

In your new role, you’ll be expected to plan and deliver engaging DT lessons. You must be able to teach Resistant Materials to KS4.

This role is starting as soon as possible, as you are required to cover a long term sickness of another member of staff.

To qualify for this position, you must:

  • Hold British QTS
  • Have DT (resistant materials/ graphics) subject specialism (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Be passionate about education and have a creative approach to your work
  • Excellent time management
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management
  • Provide 2 references
