Teacher of Food Technology

Job Description:

PK Education are working in partnership with a Sheffield Secondary School to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology. This Teacher of Food Technology role is a long-term temporary supply teaching post, commencing on Monday 15th April until the end of the school year. It is a part-time post, working three days a week.

As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, well-differentiated and engaging Food Technology lessons to pupils of all abilities. You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, so a good knowledge of the GCSE Food Technology specification is required. Due to this role being a long-term supply assignment, you will also be responsible for planning lessons and marking the work of students. You will be required to assess and report on their progress throughout the term. Where needed, you may also be required to cover in other areas of Design & Technology, but this will only be on an occasional basis.

The school is a large Secondary School located in a pleasant suburb in South Sheffield, making it easily commutable from both Sheffield, Chesterfield and Rotherham.
