PK Education are working in partnership with a Chesterfield Secondary School to appointed an enthusiatic and talented Teacher of Maths. This Teacher of Maths position is a long-term supply post, commencing in January 2019 and continuing for the duration of the academic year. It is a part-time position, working Monday to Wednesday every week.
As a Teacher of Maths, you will be required to teach engaging, high-quality and inspiring Maths lessons to pupils of all abilities. You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, so a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths syllabus is required. As this is a long-term Teacher of Maths post, you will also be reponsible for all aspects of planning lessons and marking work.
The school itself is a pleasant and welcoming school situated in a quiet suburb of Chesterfield. Over the last few years, the school has seen rapid improvements in GCSE results and now boasts a ‘Good’ rating by OFSTED. The school sets high expectations of students, and they are encouraged to develop both academically and pastorally.
