PK Education are working closely with a large Secondary School in the Peak District to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics. This post is due to commence ASAP and will continue until the end of this academic year. It is a full-time post, so you will need to be available for work five days a week.
As a Teacher of Physics, you will be responsible for teaching Physics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils of all abilities. There is also the possibility of teaching some Key Stage 5 Physics if this is of interest. As this is a long-term supply post covering long-term absence, you will be required to plan lessons, mark work and assess pupils as they progress.
The school itself is a large 11 to 18 school in the Peak District. The school is in a rural location, yet it is easily commutable from both Sheffield and Chesterfield. The school boasts an excellent reputation locally, and is reknowed for its excellent GCSE and A-Level examination results. The school sets high expectations of students and they are encouraged to develop into their full potential. The Science Faculty in particular is a large, dynamic and very successful department within the school.
In return for your hard work in their post, you will be paid a competitive rate of pay. PK Education pay to scale for long-term assignments, so you will be rewarded fairly for the work you do. You will also be given a service that will vastly exceed your expectation of supply teaching agencies, and a dedicated and experienced consultant who will be responsible for ensuring you are happy in your assignment.
If you are an experienced Teacher of Physics or a Physics NQT, then PK Education would love to hear from you! Please email your CV to email@example.com or call our South Yorkshire Office on 0114 272 2212 where a member of our team would be delighted to assist you.
