Job Description:

PK Education are a supply agency that are working closely with a school in Rotherham that are currently seeking a hard-working Teacher of Science.

We are seeking to appoint a driven, innovative and inspiring classroom teacher with strong practical skills who has the ability to enthuse and motivate students to strive for excellence. Science is taught within a forward thinking and creative team.

We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced Teachers.

A passion for teaching and learning and a genuine regard for exceptional progress with quality care for all our students is essential.

As a science teacher, your role will be:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for Science to students age 11 – 16, including GCSE Science.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to the maximizing of student attainment.
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

This role is starting as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the year.
You’ll be planning and delivering lessons to students of all abilities in KS3 and KS4 – 5 days a week (full time).

The school are committed to preparing young people to be ‘employment ready’ with the skills and confidence to succeed.
