Teaching Assistant – Pupil Referral Unit

Monday – Friday

£75 – £90 Per Day

Teaching Assistant required to work in one of our partner pupil referral units. Working in a purpose-built school, with pupils in KS3 – KS4. Offering challenges with equal amount of reward to the right teaching assistant. Must have experience working with challenging behaviour.

You will work on a one to one and small group basis, adapting to different children’s abilities. You will create a positive environment, motivating children while maintaining safeguarding.

You will work with their personalised programmes of learning, catering to individual students, with the shared goal to re integrate back into mainstream school, further education and even employment.

Interviews to take place immediately.

Experience working with emotional behavioural difficulties and social emotional and mental health if preferred.

Ability to drive is desired however, local public transport is available.

REQUIRED:

Enhanced DBS

If you don’t have a DBS currently, we will be able to help you with your application for a new one.

Team Teach (desirable) we may be able to assist you in attending a course should you require.
