Secondary Textiles Teacher required – March 2019 – Rossendale
£100 – £160 per day
This exciting Secondary Textiles Teacher position available for a long term position is the perfect opportunity to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in the Rossendale area.
Are you a passionate design technology teacher? As an engaging teacher are you able to use your subject knowledge to enthuse students in designing and producing a range of items using various textiles?
This Textiles Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
This Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school nurtures a strong sense of ambition in young people through delivering a learning experience that both challendes students and supports them in equal measure. The school prides itself on having strong traditional values and offerning a safe environment where learners can both flourish and achieve to their full potential.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs
To be considered for the role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum including the new GCSE
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
