KS3 Transition Teacher Required – April 2020 – Rochdale

£110 – £170 per day


PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a desirable, secondary school in the Rochdale area in order to recruit a dedicated KS3 Transition teacher for a long term (and potentially permanent) position starting in April 2020.


The school are looking for a passionate and highly motivated teacher. The role is predominantly to teach ‘catch-up’ classes to year 7 and 8 pupils. You will work with the English and Maths departments to provide a curriculum that allows these students to improve their basic literacy and numeracy skills.


To be considered for the role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

Good classroom management

Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
