Administrator- South Birmingham- September start
One of our partner schools in south Birmingham are looking for a administrator to join their welcoming office team, commencing in September – continuing into December and beyond!
Do you have significant experience working in an administration, paired with a passion for working alongside children?
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced administrator to fill a full time, long term opportunity at an amazing SEND school in south Birmingham. Ofsted rates this school as ‘good’ and has described it as a place where ‘staff morale is high and pupils get along well together’. This role commences from September. This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for a step-up from an administration role or are looking to gain some administration experience working within a vibrant, school setting.
The role will be split into 2 roles over 5 days working 9-3 each day. The first role will be general admin duties working with the EHCP co-ordinator and the second role will be working for the headteacher dealing with the referrals. The perfect candidate must have school experience and we would prefer some knowledge of SEN pupils. This is a specialised role and training will be offered.
To be considered for the Administrator role you must:
- Hold a level 2 admin assistant qualification
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils and their families.
- Have great interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Be able to manage your own workload to meet deadlines.
- Be able to work as part of a small team.
- Be able to remain calm when under pressure.
- Be approachable, positive and have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and confidential information.
- Previous and recent experience of providing excellent customer service either face to face or on the phone.
- You must have previous experience of working in a busy office where multi-tasking is a requirement. Experience working in an educational or school setting is advantageous, though not essential.
Administrator Salary and Benefits:
- £100- 150 per day dependadnt on experience.
- Term-time only.
- Working 9-3 daily.
