Early Years Foundation Stage Teacehr

PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teachers for upcoming opportunities across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

We work with a range of primary schools and early years settings and are looking to speak with teachers who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

The Role

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate EYFS lessons and activities
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
• Supporting children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers where required
• Following safeguarding and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate early years teaching qualification
• Have experience working within EYFS
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Are passionate about supporting young children’s development
• Are patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
