Level 3 Teaching Assistant

PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants for upcoming opportunities across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

We work with a range of primary and secondary schools and are looking to speak with Teaching Assistants who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:

• Support teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups to support learning
• Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
• Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
• Provide support to pupils with additional needs where required
• Monitor and report on pupil progress
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Have previous experience working in a school or educational setting
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
• Are patient, reliable and enthusiastic
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Are confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
