Salary: £100–£120 per day, dependent on experience

PK Education are looking for a Graduate Teacher / Cover Supervisor to work part-time within secondary schools across Sheffield from September.

This is aimed at graduates who are considering a career in teaching and want to gain meaningful classroom experience without committing to a full-time role. It’s particularly suited to graduates with a strong academic background who are considering a future PGCE or teacher training route.

You’ll work across KS3 and KS4, taking classes through pre-planned lessons and developing the classroom management skills needed for a future teaching career.

The Role

• Supervising and delivering pre-planned lessons
• Working with KS3 and KS4 students
• Managing behaviour and keeping students engaged
• Supporting students with their work
• Building valuable secondary classroom experience

• A degree in any subject
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence working with young people
• Professional and reliable approach
• Genuine interest in progressing into teaching
• Previous experience with children or young people is advantageous
