PK Education are recruiting an IT Teacher for a secondary school in Rotherham.

The school are looking for an IT specialist to provide full-time cover for an unexpected staff absence. While the role is initially to cover sickness, the exact duration is currently unknown and there is a strong possibility that the booking could become long-term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Teacher who is available to start ASAP and is looking for a full-time role with the potential to offer longer-term consistency.

The Role

• Teaching IT across the secondary age range
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s existing curriculum
• Supporting students to make continued progress during staff absence
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Working full-time as part of the wider department

We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher or experienced IT specialist with secondary school experience
• Strong subject knowledge in IT
• Confidence teaching secondary-aged students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Somebody available to start ASAP and commit to a full-time timetable

This role would suit an experienced IT Teacher looking for their next opportunity, or somebody currently available for supply work who is interested in securing a potentially longer-term placement.
