Nursery Nurse

PK Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to work within a welcoming primary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about giving young children the best possible start to their education.

The role:

• Supporting children within an Early Years/Nursery setting
• Helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
• Delivering and supporting age-appropriate activities
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers

To be considered, you MUST have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent
• Experience working with Nursery/Early Years aged children
• A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach
• A good understanding of safeguarding and children’s welfare
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
