Teaching Assistant with BSL Experience – Sheffield

PK Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant in Sheffield who has experience supporting deaf children and is confident using British Sign Language (BSL).

You’ll help pupils access lessons, communicate with staff and classmates, and feel included throughout the school day. We’re looking for someone patient, adaptable and able to work closely with teachers to meet each child’s needs.

You’ll need:

• Experience working with deaf children in a school or similar setting

• The ability to use BSL confidently to support pupils

• A good understanding of inclusive classroom practice

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding
