Mathematics Teacher

PK Education is recruiting a strong Maths Teacher for a school in North Tyneside, starting after the October half term. The role will initially run until Christmas, with the potential to continue.

You will predominantly teach KS3 and KS4 Maths. We are looking for a confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge, effective behaviour management and high expectations of every student.

The role:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Assess progress and adapt teaching to support and challenge students.

• Establish clear routines and maintain a positive, focused classroom.

• Work with the Maths department to support student achievement.

Requirements:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.

• Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students of different abilities.

• Availability from after October half term until Christmas.

• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
