English Teacher

PK Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Gateshead from October 2026.

This is an ongoing position and would be ideal for a qualified English Teacher looking for their next opportunity within a supportive school environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons, supporting pupils to achieve their potential and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Have QTS or a relevant UK teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching English within a secondary school

• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils

• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new one

• Be able to provide suitable references and complete PK Education’s compliance requirements
