PK Education are recruiting for a qualified English Teacher to work within a secondary school in Doncaster.

We’re looking for a confident and engaging teacher who can deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of different abilities and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons

• Supporting students preparing for GCSE examinations

• Planning, marking and assessing student progress

• Adapting teaching to support students of different abilities

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

• Working collaboratively with the English department

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching English within a UK secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

• Confident delivering GCSE English Language and Literature

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Passionate about developing students’ literacy and communication skills

• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
