The Role

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4

• Delivering engaging lessons covering physical and human Geography

• Supporting students preparing for GCSE Geography

• Planning, marking and assessing student progress

• Adapting lessons to support different abilities

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

• Working collaboratively with Humanities departments

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

• Confident delivering GCSE Geography

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Passionate about helping students understand the world around them

• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
