General Cover Teacher

PK Education is recruiting a flexible and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher for a school in Berwick-upon-Tweed, starting as soon as possible.

This role would suit a confident teacher who enjoys variety, can adapt to different classes and builds positive relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons and learning activities in the absence of the usual class teacher.

• Keep pupils engaged and support their learning.

• Maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Adapt your approach to meet different learning needs.

• Provide clear feedback to the class teacher on completed work and pupil progress.

• Work closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching in a school setting.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.

• Availability to start ASAP.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
