Our East Midlands office for teaching jobs in Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield and Swadlincote is located in the Theatre Square in Nottingham city centre, again, easily accessed by the transport in the city.
The internal rail network in Nottingham began in 1839 and has since been renowned as a great and useful service. Now largely operated by East Midlands trains, you can easily access the heart of the city from places such as: Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, York, Doncaster, and Scarborough. When combined with ‘Nottingham Express Transit’ there are rich links throughout this city. Even though there is only one line that has two branches, it still links up a large amount of the city for those wishing to commute internally. At the top of a recent poll for the best schools in the area, Rushcliffe School levelled at the top. Located in West Bridgford, on the south side of the city this is a pleasant suburb with a leisure centre nearby. Ranked fourth in the polls, Carlton le Willows Academy in Gedling offers both an outstanding 11-16 secondary school, and Sixth Form facility. On the east side if the Nottingham area, this institution demonstrates the standard of excellence that PK recognises throughout the Nottingham area.
West of Nottingham, Derby is a hotbed of great opportunities in education. The city centre in particular is handy for those who are looking to either live or commute for work. With the A601 ring road and Derby Station being situated on the Main Line, you’ll never be stuck for transport links. Commuting to teaching and teaching assistant jobs in Derby couldn’t be easier with the station on a main route from London to the North, providing a wealth of fast trains to the city. An example of the great schooling in the city centre is the Landau Forte College. Founded in 1992, the college received an Outstanding Ofsted rating in 2012. PK recognise a great standard of education in the area, and you’re never too far from our Nottingham office, should you need face to face advice.
Just off the A60 and South East of Chesterfield, Mansfield is a place that’s nice and straight forward to get to. Serviced by East Midlands trains, the Mansfield Train station is another great point of access for those who might be looking to commute for their work. As an example, the Yeoman Park School, famed in the area for its high standards is still only half an hour from the central train station via public transport, even though it is on the northern edge of the town.
South of Derby and just west of Loughborough, this town is great for those who are looking to either move or commute for work. Also, with the A511 and the A444 at either side, it’s a place that is simple and easy to get to should you need to. Swadlincote also has a host of great schools, one in particular is the Ofsted Outstanding rated Elmsleigh Infant and Nursery School, located just north of the city centre. As always, if you require more information then our offices are never too far away. In fact, on average in Swadlincote, you’re around 50 minutes away from our Nottingham office.
