£100 – £165 per day

This Design Technology Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. The school is looking for a dedicated candidate that has experience teaching resistant materials, product design and/or graphics to plan and deliver lessons that engage and challenge all learners. The department is equipped with modern tools/resources as well as ICT based packages that allow a range of teaching methods to be used.
This school caters for nearly 1000 students and through the delivery of top class teaching & learning they aim to deliver excellent exam results. In addition to students achieving academically the school also provides a wide range of extra curricular experiences to ensure learners are given the opportunity to develop into well rounded young people.
Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs
To be considered for this Design Technology Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum including the new GCSE
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
