Secondary Design Technology Teacher required – October 2020 – Stockport
£110 – £175 per day
This exciting Secondary Design Technology Teacher position available for a long-term position and starting in October 2020 is the perfect opportunity to join a highly desirable school in the Stockport area.

This Design Technology Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. The school is looking for a candidate that has experience teaching resistant materials, product design and/or graphics. The department is equipped with modern tools/resources as well as ICT based packages that allow a range of teaching methods to be used. There is also a full time Design Technology technician who assists the department in preparing the required resources for lessons. There is potential for the role to come with responsibility for the right candidate.

To be considered for this Design Technology Teacher role you should have:
A recognised teaching qualification
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge within Design Technology including the new GCSE
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
