French / RE Teacher

PK Education are currently recruiting for a French / RE Teacher to join a secondary school in the Middlesbrough area with an immediate start.

The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver French and Religious Education across the secondary age range. The position is initially required until 9th October with the potential to continue beyond this for the right person.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher, ECT or a teacher currently working on supply who is looking for a consistent role.

The role will involve:

• Teaching French and RE to secondary pupils

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Assessing and supporting pupil progress

• Following school policies and procedures

• Working closely with teaching and support staff

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching French/MFL and/or RE

• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic

• Be available to start ASAP

• Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service OR be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through PK Education
