Salary: MPS/UPS pro rata (dependent on experience)
PK Education are working with a secondary school in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a French Teacher on a 0.4 timetable from September 2026.
This role will involve teaching French across KS3, KS4 and KS5 within a supportive Modern Foreign Languages department that values strong subject knowledge, collaboration, and student engagement.
The school has a positive uptake in languages at both GCSE and A-Level, with the department focused on building confidence in spoken language alongside strong written and grammatical understanding.
This part-time role would suit someone looking for improved work-life balance while still teaching across a broad and engaging timetable.
The Role
- Teaching French across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Planning and delivering engaging language lessons
- Supporting students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Contributing positively to the wider MFL department
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching French within a secondary school setting
- Confidence teaching up to KS5
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for languages and student achievement
