PK Education are working with a secondary school in Barnsley who are looking for a History Teacher to join their Humanities department from September.
The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 History, including GCSE content. The school has an established curriculum and a supportive Humanities team, making this a good opportunity for a teacher who wants to concentrate on delivering strong History lessons within a well-run department.
The role includes:
- Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering engaging lessons around a broad historical curriculum
- Preparing students for GCSE
- Assessing and tracking student progress
- Working collaboratively within the Humanities faculty
We’re looking for:
- QTS or relevant teaching experience
- Strong History subject knowledge
- KS3 and KS4 teaching experience
- Good classroom management
- Passion for History and student achievement
