Are you a passionate PE Teacher who enjoys inspiring young people to stay active, develop confidence and achieve their potential?

PK Education are recruiting for a qualified Physical Education Teacher to work within a secondary school in Sheffield, starting January 2027.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic teacher who can deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging participation, teamwork and positive attitudes towards physical activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PE Teacher or ECT looking to gain further experience within a secondary school.

The Role

• Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4

• Delivering engaging practical PE lessons across a range of sports and activities

• Encouraging participation, teamwork and physical development

• Planning and assessing student progress

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safety

• Supporting students of different abilities and confidence levels

• Working collaboratively with the PE department

• Supporting GCSE PE where required and appropriate to experience

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school

• Confident delivering practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Passionate about sport, fitness and student development

• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
