Religious Education Teacher

Maternity cover staring in October until March.

RE at KS3 & KS4 plus Philosophy at KS5 ; Full time.

PK Education are working with a secondary school in Chesterfield who are looking to appoint an experienced teacher from October to March.

The timetable will include a mixture of post-16 and secondary teaching, with the successful candidate covering:

• KS5 Psychology
• KS3/4 RS

The Role

• Teaching Psychology at Y12
• Teaching RS at KS3/4
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Supporting students with their GCSE and post-16 studies
• Working as part of a supportive wider Humanities and Social Sciences team

We’re Looking For

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching across KS4 and KS5
• Strong subject knowledge in the subjects listed above
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to teach across different year groups and subjects
• A reliable and professional approach

This is a varied role that would suit an experienced secondary teacher.
